Amsterdam is one of the greatest small cities in the world. From its canals to the world-famous museums and historical sights,is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe.

Amsterdam on one hand it’s quite Calvinistic and yet is also quite enlightened and liberal. Some would say it is the gay Mecca of Europe.

Museums are the main tourist attraction. Everyone knows the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum, but there is much more. Even though there are bars, clubs, cafes all over the city, there are four specific gay districts: The Reguliersdwarsstraat is Amsterdam’s street of gay bars for both men and women. The bars along the Amstel River and the adjacent Halvemaansteeg draw a colorful mix of people. Cruising along the Warmoesstraat, which is in the heart of the red-light district you’ll find many “leather” bars.The Kerkstraat is one of the oldest gay districts in town, and is situated near the Leidseplein.
